At the Play Station Meeting in Japan, only hours ago, Sony announced the new addition to the Playstation family, which is currently code-named the NGP (New Generation Portable).
In 2005 when the original PSP launched in North America, it changed the way we think of handheld gaming. Sony is known for raising the bar, and with the NGP, they will do it again.The NGP will feature Wifi and 3G Network connectivity. The massive 5-inch multi-touch OLED screen on the front, as well as a touch pad on the back, Six-Axis motion sensing, and will have TWO joysticks (finally!).
Also to be noted, is some of your favorite games will be coming to the new device, such as UNCHARTED and CALL OF DUTY. - Uncharted on a handheld? HELL YES, COUNT ME IN.
Since the NGP was just announced in Japan only hours ago, there isn't a whole lot much more info to go around right now, so I'll leave you with this ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS looking device.
Oh yeah, and there is a camera on the back. ;p
