First of all, Kratos looks incredible! His move set is ferocious, and he even has slow-motion timed button presses, just like God of War is known for. The game will slow down, and you will be prompt to hit one or two of the face buttons, Square, Triangle, Circle, X. Kratos is proving to be much more than just a nice addition to the PS3's version of this incredible game.
On top of that, a tag team trailer was released, showing a sweet battle between Scorpion/Sub-Zero vs Sektor/Cyrax. It's pretty awesome and I can't wait to try it out.
On a similar note, I'm so happy that Sektor was added to the roster of playable characters. I personally have always been best with Sektor in MK3, and you can still get down and nasssty with him. So that's fun.
Speaking of playable characters, two DLC characters have been announced. One of which, is the blind man, Kenshi, from MK4, who uses telekinesis. The other one, however, is technically a brand new character to the Mortal Kombat family. This character's name is Scarlet.
She sort of made her debut in the MK2 arcade machines as a GLITCH, that was caused by swapping out character Mileena, Kitana and Jade. Since back in the day, all of the similar characters looked exactly the same but with different colors (Kitana-blue, Jade-green, Mileena-fuchsia), the glitch was to make her outfit RED. Ever since the glitch was discovered, people assumed it was a secret unlockable character, and she was fan-named "Scarlet". Well, Netherrealm Studios decided to turn her into a REAL character for the new game, and now Scarlet, the red female ninja, will be a DLC character.
