There are even more rumours coming up about the Wii 2 (or Wii HD) whichever name you prefer. The rumours are talking about a new and innovative controller that may actually blow your minds and a code-name, Project Cafe.
The controller is said to be a combination of both an iPhone and a GameCube controller and it will include “dual analog sticks in addition to standard d-pad and trigger buttons.” Alongside that it is also said to include a 6” screen that will let you stream game content to the controller from the console. That kind of reminds me of a Sega Dreamcast…..
01net.com said that Project Cafe will have “customer IBM PowerPC with three cores, an ATI-built GPU, and at least 512MB for memory,” (basically where the 360 is at) it is said to also be backwards compatible with past Wii AND GameCube games.
If all of these rumours turn out to be true, we may just be dealing with a “super machine” that will blow every console out of the water.
