ATLUS to bring CATHERINE to North America 2011

ATLUS and Persona Team, who have previously announced that they had no plans to bring their insanely controversial, mind-fucking, and sexy title CATHERINE to North America any time soon.
Well, the cat is out of the bag. ATLUS, who has always been full of surprises, is quite possibly the most loyal company to their fans, in my opinion, has been teasing their followers and Faithful members with simple little pictures with only a bright pink background and white lettering, has been teasing us with hints at Catherine.
Despite having told other sites that they had no plans on bringing Catherine to North America any time soon, they have surprised everyone once again with another teaser. This time, it's straight forward and in your face.

As a devout member of ATLUS FAITHFUL, I am pleased to announced to you, most likely before anyone else, that ATLUS is a bunch of liars. In a good way.
Thank you ATLUS USA and Persona Team, you have made your fans proud once again, and constantly remind us why ATLUS fans are fans for LIFE.

ATLUS has been known for localizing tons of heavy hitting RPGs from Japan. Persona 3 is one of the best-selling JRPGs in North America in a LONGGG time. So well, in fact, that it was released 3 times: Persona 3 on PS2, Persona 3 FES (with an expansion and additional content) on PS2, as well as Persona 3 Portable on PSP. After Persona 4 and Devil Summoner 2 was released on PS2, ATLUS fans have been waiting anxiously for the next announcement, assuming it would be Shin Megami Tensei 4 or maybe a Persona 5.

CATHERINE was announced and finally released in February of 2011 in Japan and Asia, and has outsold other heavy-hitting titles such as Marvel vs Capcom 3- and we all know how much Asia loves its Capcom titles...
It will now be coming to North America sometime this summer.

I will be keeping a close eye on this exciting and insane game, so expect a few more posts about Catherine, about story, gameplay, etc... in the near future.
