It is said by Official Xbox Magazine (in their May issue) that the first details of the new Resident Evil (Operation Raccoon City). The game will be developed by Slant Six & Capcom, the team that is responsible for creating SOCOM: Confrontation. The new Resident Evil game seems to be taking a huge departure from its origins with the whole survival/horror motif. This time around, players will be in the roles of Umbrella Corp. operatives looking to cover up evidence of the virus outbreak in 1998.
We are still waiting on official confirmation from Slant Six themselves to see if they're really working with this multi billion dollar video game/movie franchise.
