Devil May Cry's Dante/Hunted: The Demon's Forge/Skyrim News!

Happy Tuesday everyone, big news for you today!  I'm going to be doing a "morph-post" of sorts, with three different pieces of information in one.

There have been a lot of talk about video games now turning into movies and I'm personally glad that someone's catching on to the need that we have to see our favourite characters being immersed into a live action film where we can sit and enjoy them without a controller for at least a hour and a half.  This proves no different for Screen Gems who just bought the film rights to Capcom's Devil May Cry.

Our favourite demon hunter Dante will be thrown into a deep and twisted plot thanks to Kyle Ward (Kane & Lynch) who has been assigned to write the movie.  Screen Gems is hoping that they can emmulate the video game/movie crossover Resident Evil and create a movie series of Devil May Cry.

The only question on our minds is if they will decide to use the classic or new version of Dante.  Basically whether they decide to go with bad ass Japanese anime style Dante or the new age emo version of Dante.  We're guessing they'll go with the latter considering that Edward Cullen has had such a wonderful impression on the kids of today, since there's nothing better than a soul tortured vampire haha.

The movie is quite obviously extremely early in production and so we don't have many updates on it right now, but we will be sure to keep you updated!

-----------------------------------------------

By now we've all heard of Hunted: The Demon's Forge, Bethesda's new baby that they will be releasing on June 1st.  We were lucky enough to get the details on who will be taking the part of voice acting for one of the main character's, Seraphine.  Do you remember Xena or maybe the gorgeous Lucretia from Spartacus?  Yeah, Lucy Lawless will be taking the part of Seraphine in the video game.  "After playing the heroine for so long it's refreshing to portray such a villainous, seductive temptress!" the actress said.

Now for more Skyrim news, the trailer is officially available on Xbox Live for you to download and view on your HDTV.
There's also a My Little Pony/Skyrim mash up is available for you to enjoy on the internet, maybe it'll hold off any needs until 11.11.11 though I doubt that watching a 2:50 minute video is going to relieve the need.
Oh boy I sound like an addict.......
