Just when we thought our SNES dreams were cut short, a third party gaming accessory manufacturer named SupaBoy has just announced that they will be releasing a hand held SNES system. The best part? It’ll play your original SNES game cartridges.
The hand held console is set to be released this summer and it (to date) only plays US cartridges. At this stage it is only a prototype but IGN claims that it will be about 318g, have a 3.5 inch LCD screen and a battery life ranging at about 5.5 hours.
The SupaBoy itself has an A/V stereo output specifically for your TV and you will be able to plug in 2 SNES controllers to play on your bigger screen (instead of having to use the 3.5 inch screen.
