There will be a PlayStation 3 system update being released fairly soon, according to the PlayStation Blog. The update will be v3.66 and it will include increased system stability while using the PS3 format software, also, network services will be improved post-update.
Though there hasn't been an exact date as to when it will be coming out, I'm aiming for the later part of this week/middle of next week!
