The other day we discussed the action packed trailer for Dead Island and it seemed to impress millions and millions of you guys and other people on the internet. So much that they are actually contemplating making a movie for Dead Island. The billions of hits over the past couple of days since it's been released has really made an impression on Hollywood and has started to tantalize their brains.
Deadline says that the rights to the film were secured by Sean Daniel Company and Union Entertainment (the people who produced The Mummy). There are numerous studios and agencies trying to get their hands on the rights in order to produce a movie with such quality as the trailer for Dead Island.
Of course the process is still in its very early stages but Deadline has assured that the movie would take the same approach as the trailer itself. With the shifting between flashbacks and present day action to tell the story of what happens on Banoi Island and how all of the madness ensues.
Just informing you guys! I'm stoked :D
