Once Upon a Time, a Group of Hackers Hacked...

Posted by: Tiara Sleight

The first majorly publicised database attack this year happened with Sony but that didn't stop any other groups from attempting the same feat.  Though in 2008, studies show that data loss incidents were in the high 700's, this year has just begun and we;re allready into the high 200's.  It seems to be that the sister group of Anonymous titled "LulzSec" were the ones creating the most internet hassle this year so far.  Let me break down a few incidents for you that have happened thus far.

Is internet crime on the rise, and if so, do you think that all of this hassle is really worth the convenience of the internet?

Edit: Hey guys I'm currently at the mechanic right now but I just wanted to inform youof something that was just brought to my attention. Apparently Sega has been the newest victim of these online attacks, and  I will keep you guys updated on that as more info is brought to my attention!
