Many do not know that alongside your Playstation 3’s, there is a whole other virtual universe that you can be sucked into and that universe is called Playstation Home. Playstation Home is a world away from the real world where you can visit many attractions with your avatar such as a community theatre, different “spaces” that you can decorate, a mall, and even a bowling alley/arcade. Many of those who are dedicated fans of Playstation Home find themselves buying furniture for their homes, buying new clothes for their avatars and buying other virtual items with real world currencies. One thing that I can say though is that many people don’t delve into that part of the Playstation 3 solely because they just do not want to but that is going to change in the near future.

Playstation is planning to add a demo for Scribble Shooter (the 2D shooter) that was announced at E3 2011. Alongside the demo, the full version will only be available in the Playstation Home. Scribble Shooter is quite charming, with the artwork of the developers 12 year old son adorns the page which is basically a piece of paper a la coffee ring and all of the sounds of the game are apparently made with someone’s mouth.
If you get onto the Playstation Home you should be able to try the demo, all you have to do is go to Sony’s E3 booth on the virtual world and watch every trailer there is there and it will give you access to the VIP level upstairs that will house the Scribble Shooter arcade cabinet. Just remember that when the game becomes available this summer, it will only be available on the Playstation Home though there is no word on whether the game will be free like Ice Breaker and Echochrome.
