Mass Effect 2’s new DLC could quite possibly be just as epic as we were anticipating. Set for its release date on March 29th, Mass Effect: Arrival will include Commander Shepard figuring out clues leading to a Reaper invasion on the edge of the galaxy. It will also include Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Stone Cold) who will be using his voice to bring Admiral Hackett to life.
Mass Effect 3 is set to be released later on this year and Mass Effect: Arrival is expected to explain the gaps between ME2 and ME3. We aren’t really sure as to what BioWare has in mind for us in terms of ME3 but they have released a teaser trailer and a description on the EA product package that reads,
“Earth is burning. Striking from beyond known space, a race of terrifying machines have begun their destruction of the human race. As Commander Shepard, an Alliance Marine, your only hope for saving mankind is to rally the civilizations of the galaxy and launch one final mission to take back Earth.”
Oh and on a completely different tangent, RAGE and Skyrim were included in the Rolling Stone’s list of Biggest Video Games of 2011. :D Congratulations, Bethesda!
